I love the growth that Charlotte has seen in recent years. Nightlife destinations like the EpiCentre and NC Music Factory, cultural diversions like the Levine Center for the Arts, and major attractions like the NASCAR Hall of Fame have reinvented our city, making for memorable downtime and excellent off-site event options.

One of my favorite things about Charlotte is that we have a lively Uptown (our downtown) with museums, a baseball stadium, a football stadium and tons of restaurants to explore. I also really love that we have so many diverse neighborhood pockets surrounding our Center City. Each have their own identity and offer residents and visitors alike a chance to see the flare and individuality that makes our city a special place!

What I like best about Charlotte is the Southern hospitality. It’s the high level of service with which you are greeted, along with friendly, sophisticated warmth. I also love the mild climate. You can practically always count on the weather for a hike, bike ride or round of golf (Frisbee or traditional) on one of the many courses to choose from in the area.

What I like best about Charlotte is the diversity of the city, both in our residents and the attractions we have. There is something for everyone in Charlotte. My favorite thing to do in Charlotte is eat at my new favorite restaurant, King’s Kitchen. You can count on great Southern food, and the profits go toward feeding the homeless. The Harvey B. Gantt Center is also one of my favorite places, showcasing work from African-American artists.

My favorite things in Charlotte are Discovery Place, a fantastic place to spend the day with your kids while they have fun learning, and the Metrolina Tradeshow Expo, the best place to shop for antiques and eclectic items. My favorite restaurant is Mimosa Grill, a locally owned restaurant with a farm to fork approach, serving Southern food with a gourmet twist. The menu is seasonal and you can always count on a fresh meal with great service.

My favorite thing about Charlotte is the endless list of entertaining and exciting things to do! Whether it’s kayaking and paddleboarding at the U.S. National Whitewater Center, going to a concert or Broadway show at one of our many entertainment venues, or attending a sporting event, Charlotte truly has something attractive for everyone!

What I like best is the Uptown area of Charlotte due to the endless list of opportunities for entertainment. You can’t throw a rock without hitting what might just be your next favorite thing. My favorite thing to do in Charlotte is to visit the Crepe Cellar in the NODA Arts District. Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere is great and the people are even better.

As an avid sports fan, I love watching my hometown Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Hornets and Charlotte Knights play! With the stadiums and arena located conveniently in the heart of Uptown, it’s easy to grab a bite to eat and relax before heading over to the ballgame. If I’m not catching a game or the golf course, you are sure to find me at one of South End or NoDa’s fantastic restaurants or local craft breweries!

I love all the adventure and excitement that Charlotte has to offer. I can cruise Lake Norman, which is the largest lake in North Carolina, take the wheel of an authentic race car at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, test my whitewater rafting skills at the US National Whitewater Center or watch a concert and/or sporting event in one of our many venues, such as the Bank of America Stadium and the Time Warner Cable Arena. There is always something to do!

My favorite thing to do in Charlotte is mountain bike at the U.S. National Whitewater Center and, after climbing Goat Hill a few times, kick back, listen to live music and enjoy a beverage during the summer River Jam series.

Charlotte truly does have a lot, especially for outdoor enthusiasts. The National Whitewater Center and the many miles of Greenways provide an abundance of activities. Carowinds, Lake Norman, & Lake Wylie are also excellent outdoor options!

Charlotte is so compact and walkable! You have a ton of options for entertainment and dining in an easy walking distance. It is a beautiful and growing downtown area which blends classic Southern hospitality with sophistication. You can go to the NASCAR Hall of Fame or check out great art at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art. You could dine at my favorite Southern food restaurant The King’s Kitchen or partake of some top grade sushi at Enso. There really is something for everyone! Plus, the incredibly friendly people of Charlotte are more than willing to help you find your way. The city of Charlotte really wants everyone to succeed!
