About | Birmingham CVB

In an effort to generate more hotel stays in Jefferson County, the Greater Birmingham Convention and Visitors Bureau is funded by the Jefferson County lodging task. Rather than many other tourism authorities that are membership-based, the CVB represents the array of accommodation facilities throughout the county. Governed by a Board of Directors from a variety of sectors, the CVB focuses their marketing on conventions, sports, and tour/travel/reunions.

Charletta Sheehy Chums, Inc.

Re: Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa: Ross Bridge is one of the nicest facilities we visit. It is plush without being "stuffy". Everyone is nice and accommodating - beginning when you drive up to the front door and continues throughout your stay. Again, can't say enough good things about Birmingham and the welcoming attitude of everyone I worked with. I've absolutely fallen in love with Birmingham. We've been to Ross Bridge once before and when you add the first visit to check out the facility and all of the pre-con visits I've been there approximately 6 or 7 times. Love the city, love the people, love the shopping, love everything about Birmingham.

Bobbi Wettach Assistant Director-Meeting Coordinator Mississippi Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Stores Association

Re: Tutwiler Hotel Hampton Inn & Suites: The Tutwiler is a great venue for a small group event of 70 or less. Re: Greater Birmingham CVB: Our first (and only) time to host our group's national meeting, and it couldn't have been better! Thank you for your assistance!
